Characteristics of Cypress Bathtubs
The traditional Japanese cypress bathtubs are known for their distinctive fragrance and the soothing warmth of the wood. Hinoki, or Japanese cypress, is naturally resistant to moisture and highly durable, making it a long-lasting material for bathtubs.
Additionally, hinoki is known for its natural antibacterial properties, which help prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. On top of that, hinoki baths are highly efficient at retaining heat, keeping the water warm for longer and enhancing the overall bathing experience.
