After achieving an aged marble effect through a special process, we can create any shape of CottoVeneto's craft marble, as well as custom shapes uniquely crafted in our in-house workshop, handcrafting each piece with exceptional attention to detail, allowing us to produce unique works of art. Even complex shapes are cut using a ring saw designed for curved tiles, with each piece carefully finished to achieve a natural texture (tumble finishing).
Features of Tumbled Marble Art
The key feature of tumbled marble art is its antique-like texture, created through aging. This technique tumbles hard marble and stone in a drum, rounding the edges and giving the surface a naturally weathered look. The result is a piece with rich, aged character, as though it has been shaped by years of natural wear.
